ok fine. that’s it. i spent the last 8 minutes looking for a picture of these hideous (probably imitation) Crocs that were styled like Vans slip-ons. Like white boat shoes with the navy blue stripe on the side.
In that 8 minutes, my Shanghai 1949 leftovers came back up with every other photo I came across instead.
I just had to share with you, the wonder of this pheonmenon. Crocs.
Regardless of that and speaking of Shanghai 1949, they have a really great lunch special that I don’t feel like explaining. Just trust that it was good.
This post is irrelivant to anything and now my break is over and I have to go back to the over-priced chaos.

Also, in honor of all the meat eating, Nico and I celebrated with Korean BBQ. God, how much more detached from my heritage could I be?! Actually, I’m not bad. At least I looked up this stuff!
Remember last years? I think I can do without the hoopla (or lack thereof due to frontin’ behaviours – not mine, others.) Though I am curious to see what Tagalog stylin’ Hedley’s got in the krates this year…

the one day i had to call in sick.
in exchange for much needed sleep til noon and an afternoon of junk food & everyone’s fave NYC broads on the big screen (p.s. someone shits their pants!) i missed Qila’s afternoon birth to the cutest baby beluga I’ve ever seen. Actually, the first one I’ve ever seen.
One miracle missed in exchange for another (who gets the gift of their wedding dreams from Vivian Westwood!?)
